Ride a well-trained horse from Baja’s cactus desert to a secluded Pacific beach with guides such as Reyes, Victor, or Esteban. The pace suits beginners, and winter rides may bring whale sightings. Hotel pickup, safety gear, water, and tequila tasting are included, but add $25 for park entry.
“The driver picked us right up from our hotel, even though it was quite a long drive to the ranch. Everybody was very friendly, the horses were well behaved, and the ride was beautiful. Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We even saw whales while riding on the beach. I did not read far enough down and realize there was a $25 fee on top of the cost to get into the park where we rode. Just be aware of that and take cash if possible.”
