Meet at La 9 Mall in El Poblado at 8:40 am, then ride to Palmitas for a family-run coffee experience. With guides such as Christian and Mateo, you’ll dress like a coffee farmer, pick beans, follow the coffee process, taste different brews, enjoy lunch, and learn about sugar cane traditions.

Meet at La Makha in El Poblado, then ride about 30 minutes to a countryside ranch near an old town. You’ll receive basic instruction before a scenic horseback outing of up to 1.5 hours. Guide Ricardo may lead the ride. Food, drinks, and possible transport charges are extra.

From El Poblado, travel 45 minutes into Antioquia for a short mule or donkey ride to a family coffee farm. Christian and his relatives explain coffee growing, processing, and brewing, with tastings, lunch, sugar cane, mountain views, and a souvenir.

They served us lunch which was also very tasty with options for vegetarians. My only advice is there could be better communication prior to pick up as I waited about an hour after the scheduled time to be picked up. Otherwise unforgettable experience and would recommend 100%. I will cherish my experience forever.”
